Q. I enjoy potato chips while watching a movie but instead of a beer I would like a glass of wine. Any suggestions?

A. Believe it or not there is a style of wine that goes well with salty foods. Simply…sweet. Whether it be an Ice Wine or a Gewurztraminer or even a sweeter Zinfandel Blush. The residual sugar in these wine will actually work with a plain salty crisp. My choice is the Ice Wine or a late harvest Vidal. Try it, you may be surprised just how well they go together.
